He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, USA. His father, John Christopher Depp Sr., was a civil engineer, and his mother, Betty Stu Palmer, was a waitress. He has two sisters, Debbie and Christine, and a brother, Daniel. Depp's parents divorced when he was a teenager.
