Jānis Kreičmanis

Biografi

Jānis Kreičmanis is one of the leading stand-up comedians in Latvia. He began his comedy career in 2016, performing in shows at bars in Riga, and soon became a permanent member of Comedy Latvia.

He has several solo shows: Nav ļūrēji (2020), Liels puika (2022), Pirmās ūsas (2023). Jānis Kreičmanis is a multiple award-winning stand-up comedian in Latvia. He won the title of Comedian of the Year in 2021, Joke of the Year in 2022, Joke of the Year again in 2023, and in 2024, he received both the Comedian of the Year and Joke of the Year awards at the same time.

In addition to stand-up, Jānis is also active in the world of podcasts. His main podcast is "Kreiča Podkāsts", which combines personal stories with humor. He is also one of the creators of the podcast "Sivēni", along with comedians Aleksandrs Guzenko and Kalvis Troskas.
