Maureen Mountcastle

Biografi

Maureen Mountcastle is an actress and producer, who also coaches new actors. Maureen created Lumina Talent Development to provide a path for new actors to get started in their careers. She teaches auditioning for film and television.

She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1987 with a BA in Dramatic Art. She transitioned from stage to Film/TV when the film business started picking up in NC in the early 2000's.

She has produced 2 films: a feature length called TrainWreck written and directed by Valley Girl's Andy Lane and starring R Keith Harris opposite Maureen. The short film she produced "Suit Yourself" was presented at the Durango Film Festival ,the Cape Fear Film Festival and the Kent Film Festival.

She appeared as Janet Reno's secretary opposite Jane Lynch in Manhunt: Unabomber and Mrs Hoover in The Gifted. She has also appeared in Under the Dome, Eastbound and Down, and One Tree Hill. You may also recognize her from those funny Mellow Mushroom commercials if you're an ACC football/basketball fan.
