Seymour Steinbigle, a former record company exec, music mogul and a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, was born April 18, 1942. As vice president of Warner Bros. Records, he had a hand in the seventies' post-punk & new wave movements due to signing bands such as The Ramones, Talking Heads and The Pretenders. Steinbigle, who took the professional last name Stein, died on April 2, 2023.
